Cardiac Nursing

Cardiac Nursing is a specialized field of nursing that focuses on caring for individuals with heart conditions. Cardiac nurses possess advanced knowledge in assessing, diagnosing, and managing cardiac diseases such as heart failure, myocardial infarction, and arrhythmias. They monitor cardiac function, administer medications, educate patients on lifestyle modifications, and provide support for cardiac procedures such as angioplasty or bypass surgery. Cardiac nurses work closely with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans, promote cardiac rehabilitation, and empower patients to manage their cardiovascular health. Through their expertise, cardiac nurses contribute to improving the quality of life for individuals with heart conditions.
